Trigger Journeys Automatically for Additional Event Attributes
You can now trigger a journey automatically based on additional events by configuring conditions for specific attributes. The automatic allocation is based on V2 events.
Here are the business objects supported for V2 events and the additional attributes that you configure:
Business Object | Attribute |
---|---|
Passport | Issuing Country |
Visas and Permits | Issuing Country |
Type | |
Status | |
Demographic Info | Gender |
Highest Education Level | |
Marital Status | |
Information Category | |
Veteran Self-Identification Status | |
Disabled Veteran | |
Active Duty Wartime or Campaign Badge Veterans | |
Armed Forces Service Medal Veteran | |
Recently Separated Veteran |
Here are some use cases for assigning journeys automatically using the additional event attributes:
-
New US Passport journey should be assigned when a new US passport is created by the employee.
-
US Visa journey should be assigned when issuing country is United States and visa permit status is active for the employee.
-
New Demographic Info journey should be assigned when the highest education level of the employee is master's degree.

You need to configure security to use this feature. See the Access Requirements section.
Tips And Considerations
-
You can add only one subgroup in a group when using Redwood Rule Builder.
-
You need to ensure that the case of the attribute value configured in the rule matches that of the data in the application. Currently, the option to ignore case when configuring a rule is not available in Redwood Rule Builder.
