Delete a Self-Paced Learning
You can now fully delete inactive self-paced learning, or self-paced learning with deleted content from you Oracle Learning catalog.
Here's what you can do on the drawer opened by the new Delete action:
-
View how many learners completed the learning.
-
Decide whether to keep completions by moving them to a new legacy learning item.
-
Provide a reason for the deletion and add comments, such as why you selected that reason.
After you confirm the deletion, it's processed by a scheduled process that permanently removes the learning and all its associations, including with specializations, communities, recommendations, initiatives, HCM goals, and HCM journeys. If you elected to preserve completions, they're migrated to a legacy learning to retain learner history.
Delete This Learning Drawer
This feature lets you completely clean up outdated or unnecessary learning, ensuring data accuracy and giving you full control over your learning catalog.
Steps to Enable
You need to enable self-paced learning to use this feature. You also need to configure security. See the Access Requirements section.
Tips And Considerations
- The new Delete action isn't available for self-paced learning managed by an external provider.
- This Delete action can't be undone. We recommend that you give permission to use this action to only the most elite learning administrators.
- If you decide to keep learner completions, the legacy learning will include only the name of the learning and register a completion for it. All other information about the original learning is removed.
- Any initiative with deleted self-paced learning is cancelled by the scheduled process that does the actual deletion.
- Any recommendations with deleted self-paced learning will be withdrawn by the scheduled process that does the actual deletion.
