New Features and Enhancements

The latest releases of the NetSuite EPM SuiteApps introduce the following new features and enhancements:

NetSuite EPM Connector 26.1    
  • Includes updates required for the 26.1 releases of the Close Management and Consolidation Sync, Planning and Budgeting Sync, and Account Reconciliation Sync SuiteApps. 
  • You can export your NetSuite EPM Connector configuration into a single file to back it up or import it into another NetSuite account.

Close Management and Consolidation Sync 26.1
  • You can verify that the correct Financial Consolidation and Close application connects to NetSuite. 
  • When you create a default saved search or dataset, you no longer need to manually add prefixes to the allowlist in NetSuite EPM Connector. The prefixes are added automatically.
  • SuiteQL queries can be used to load data from NetSuite into Financial Consolidation and Close.
  • Options for Relative period selection in jobs are renamed from ‘month’ to ‘period’.
  • The Help On This Topic link is available in the upper-right corner or under the More menu on every NetSuite page. Selecting this link opens the relevant help topic for that page.
  • Localization for the SuiteApp is available in all supported languages.

Planning and Budgeting Sync 26.1
  • You can verify that the correct Planning and Budgeting application connects to NetSuite.
  • When you create a default saved search or dataset, you no longer need to manually add prefixes to the allowlist in NetSuite EPM Connector. The prefixes are added automatically.
  • Data Load Rule jobs are now called Data Integration jobs.
  • Options for Relative period selection in jobs are renamed from ‘month’ to ‘period’.
  • The NSPB SuitePeople saved searches are now available for loading data and metadata from NetSuite into Planning and Budgeting. These saved searches were previously included in the NSPB-SuitePeople Sync SuiteApp.

Account Reconciliation Sync 26.1
  • You can verify that the correct Account Reconciliation application connects to NetSuite.
  • When you create a default saved search, you no longer need to manually add prefixes to the allowlist in NetSuite EPM Connector. The prefixes are added automatically.
  • SuiteQL queries can be used to load data from NetSuite into Account Reconciliation.
  • Data Load Rule jobs are now called Data Integration jobs.
  • The Job Calendar page has been redesigned to provide an improved user experience.
  • After running a Data Integration job, you can delete the imported file from the Inbox/Outbox Explorer in your Account Reconciliation.
  • Schedule and run the following Account Reconciliation jobs from NetSuite:
    o    Import Profiles
    o    Pipeline
  • Options for Relative period selection in jobs are renamed from ‘month’ to ‘period’.

Recommended Action
We strongly encourage you to manually install or upgrade the SuiteApps in your Sandbox or Release Preview account. This lets you preview the new features and enhancements before the SuiteApps are automatically pushed to your production account.

NOTE 
If you already have the NetSuite EPM Connector SuiteApp installed in your Sandbox or Release Preview account, make sure you upgrade it to the latest version before installing the other NetSuite EPM SuiteApps.
