Enable Generative AI for Buyers and Team Members for Negotiation Messaging

Category managers and collaboration team members can use AI to write and improve their negotiation messages in the new Redwood page. They simply start writing their message with a few words, and use AI to get a complete, well formatted message in a professional and business neutral tone.

The generative AI can be used to write a new message or when replying to a message. AI will also consider the negotiation type, title, message subject, previous message, and the intent from the words written to suggest a message that's relevant to your communication. If you provide a subject, AI will utilize it to generate the message. In case you haven't entered a subject, AI will generate a relevant subject.

Steps to Enable

Use the Opt In UI to enable this feature. For instructions, refer to the Optional Uptake of New Features section of this document.

To enable this feature, you must first opt in to the update 24D feature: Redwood: Use New Buyer Experience for Negotiation Messages.

The messages generated by AI may contain inaccuracies and must be reviewed before sending.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:

• View Supplier Negotiation Online Message (PON_VIEW_ONLINE_MESSAGE_PRIV)
• Create Supplier Negotiation Online Message (PON_CREATE_ONLINE_MESSAGE_PRIV)
• Reply Supplier Negotiation Online Message (PON_REPLY_ONLINE_MESSAGE_PRIV)
