Redwood: Respond to Line Details in Oracle Supplier Portal
Suppliers can now provide line details when creating response to supplier negotiations in Redwood Oracle Supplier Portal. Negotiations with more complex categories require additional line information from suppliers which can include:
- Line attributes
- Cost factors
- Price breaks and quantity-based price tiers
Line attributes represent key characteristics of a negotiation line that may not pertain to pricing or additional cost considerations. These can be product specifications, or line specific requirements.
Cost factors identify additional costs associated with a line, which are negotiated along with the line price.
Price breaks are reductions in the price of an item depending on certain conditions such as purchasing in bulk or from a certain location. The quantity-based price tiers are reductions in the price of an item when purchasing volume thresholds are met.
When creating a response, suppliers click the details icon in the lines table to input the additional line information requested by the buying organization.

Suppliers now have the capability to respond to line attributes, cost factors, price breaks, and quantity-based pricing tiers directly through the Redwood Supplier Portal.
