AI Agent: Autonomous Sourcing Assistant Enhancements

Category managers can now quickly identify negotiations created by the autonomous sourcing assistant using the new Autonomous filter in the Negotiation Workbench. Also, a new Autonomous column is available in search results, which users can expose.

To further improve visibility, autonomously created negotiations display a banner throughout the negotiation lifecycle, making them easy to recognize at every stage.

Approval rules for autonomously created negotiations and awards can be configured to route to a designated user or approval group ensuring proper oversight over autonomous activities.

The new attributes to support these rules are:

  • Autonomous Sourcing - When set to Yes, indicates that the negotiation was created autonomously.
  • Autonomous Award - When set to Yes, indicates the negotiation was both created and awarded autonomously.

You can also configure Negotiation Approval notifications to conditionally display alerts to approvers using Autonomous Sourcing attribute from the Negotiation Approval Notification data model. Similarly, Award Approval notifications can be configured to use Autonomous Sourcing and Autonomous Award attributes from the Award Approval Notification data model to help approvers easily identify autonomously created negotiations and awards.

These enhancements provide greater transparency and control over autonomous sourcing activities. By making autonomous actions clearly visible and configurable within approval workflows and notifications, organizations can automate sourcing processes to improve operational efficiency while maintaining proper oversight.

Steps to enable and configure
