Customer Dashboard Secondary Actions

You can now navigate quickly and easily to more locations within the Customer Dashboard or directly to your customer information system using new actions from the Customer Dashboard. The Action menu has been updated to include out-of-the-box connections to these actions:

  • Creating a service request
  • Starting service for an additional premise
  • Transferring service
  • Accessing communication preference
  • Viewing related parties.

These actions navigate you to predefined locations in the solution where you can complete the selected task. During your implementation, you can set profile options to update the navigation for some of these actions to suit your business needs.

These navigational additions to the Action menu can increase your ability to quickly and easily support your customers across a variety of topics beyond usage and billing.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

These menu options are available out-of-the-box, but you can use profile options to update the navigation URL for these actions, as needed:

  • Start new service
  • Transfer new service
  • View related party
