Conditional Booking Process Flow

Following is the process flow for conditional booking. For details on the configuration, see How to Configure Conditional Booking.

A flow diagram displaying the conditional booking process. Shipper tenders book tenders, which leads to OTM notifiying shippers of changes. The shipper decides to accept them or not, which can restart the process.

Note: Several steps of the process depend on your configuration of conditional booking. For example, whether a tender is automatically accepted or conditionally accepted depends on thresholds and whether a shipper can update a tender after it has been confirmed depends on agent gates and tender properties.

You tender a shipment.

Note: The shipper is allowed to update the shipment after it has been approved.

The service provider can Accept Shipment with Conditional Booking or decline it and the shipment will be re-tendered.

Note: The carrier can update even after a ship is on the water.
