Defining a VICS Bill of Lading

A VIC Bill of Lading is a 17 digit number used to identify a bill of lading. The business number generator can automatically generate a VICS BOL.

Configuring the BNG

1. Generate a reference number, as described in the topic Generating Reference Numbers by Agent Actions, but use a rule definition of {p:id=1:range=VICS_BOL}{s:algorithm=VICS_MOD:algorithm_context=1}.
2. Set up a named Range, as described in the topic Configuring a Named Range with Recycling, but use a BN rule like: 999999{nnnnnnnnnn:start=1:n=9999999999} where 999999 is the shipper's EAN.UCC number.
