Accessorial Code Description

If you record an Accessorial Code Description, it appears as the Shipment Cost Type on the Financial tab of the Shipment Manager when this accessorial is applied to a shipment. If no description is provided here, Oracle Transportation Management uses the description recorded on the Accessorial Costs page. If no description exists, then the Shipment Cost Type displays as Accessorial.

The Accessorial Code Description is also used to populate the NFRC Description assigned to a job via a Non-Freight Related Charge Rule.
