Value Qualifiers

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Qualifiers > Value Qualifiers.

You can use a value qualifier to add value-related information to a trade transaction, trade transaction line, declaration, declaration line, the Compliance Rule Controls tab, or for landed cost calculation. Examples of value qualifiers include international freight, domestic inland freight, insurance, assists, buying/selling commissions, packing costs, etc. You can also define different value classes like total values, costs, taxes, and duties in this page.

Adding a Value Qualifier

Enter a unique identifier in the Value Qualifier ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this value qualifier on other pages.
Enter the value qualifier name in the Name field.
Select a type of value qualifier like total value, cost, duty or tax from the Class drop-down list.
If desired, enter additional information about the value qualifier in the Description field.
Enter a value type ID in the Value Type field.
Select an option from the Mandatory Indicator on Simulator drop-down list. This determines whether it will be mandatory to enter data for this value qualifier field in the Landed Cost Simulator window.
Select an option from the Visible on Simulator drop-down list. Your selection will determine whether this value qualifier field will be visible in the Landed Cost Simulator window. The options are:
1. Both: Configures the value qualifier field to be visible in both the input and the output windows of the Landed Cost Simulator.
2. Input: Configures the value qualifier field to be visible in only the input window of the Landed Cost Simulator.
3. Output: Configures the value qualifier field to be visible in only the output window of the Landed Cost Simulator.
4. None: Configures the value qualifier field so that it is not visible in any of the windows of the Landed Cost Simulator.
Select a domain in which this value qualifier will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
Click Finished.
