Value Types

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Configurations > Value Types.

A value type groups different value categories under a particular type. Examples of value types include freight, packing, insurance, bank fee, commission, royalty etc. Define value types that can be applied to a trade transaction, trade transaction line, declaration, declaration line, or estimated landed cost calculation.

Adding a Value Type

  1. Enter a unique identifier in the Value Type ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this value type on other pages.
  2. Enter the value type name in the Name field.
  3. If desired, enter additional information about the value type in the Description field.
  4. Enter a value category ID in the Value Category ID field.
  5. Select a domain in which this value type will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
  6. Click Finished.
