Value Types
This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Configurations > Value Types.
A value type groups different value categories under a particular type. Examples of value types include freight, packing, insurance, bank fee, commission, royalty etc. Define value types that can be applied to a trade transaction, trade transaction line, declaration, declaration line, or estimated landed cost calculation.
Adding a Value Type
- Enter a unique identifier in the Value Type ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this value type on other pages.
- Enter the value type name in the Name field.
- If desired, enter additional information about the value type in the Description field.
- Enter a value category ID in the Value Category ID field.
- Select a domain in which this value type will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
- Click Finished.
