Propagate Changes to Trade Transaction

This page is accessed via:

  • Brokerage and Forwarding > Booking > Freight Forwarding > Actions > Global Trade Management > Propagate Changes to Trade Transaction
  • Order Management > Order Release > Order Release > Actions > Global Trade Management > Propagate Changes to Trade Transaction
  • Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments/Sell Shipments > Actions > Global Trade Management > Propagate Changes to Trade Transaction
  • Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group > Actions > Global Trade Management > Propagate Changes to Trade Transaction

Note: This action cannot be run on a trade transaction created using the deprecated Create Trade Transaction action. Instead use the action Build Trade Transaction: Shipment Management or the Build Trade Transaction to create a trade transaction and then perform this action.

Data on order releases, buy/sell shipments or shipment group can be modified even after trade transactions are created. Use this action to sync the trade transactions with any such modified order release or shipment data. At the same time, all the transactions will be re-evaluated against the data configuration used to create the transactions, and required shipment data will be copied to resulting trade transactions accordingly.

Note: Do not modify the data configuration used to create trade transaction from this order release/shipment before running this action as the same configuration will be used to propagate any change.

  1. Select the Consider Related Shipments check box if you want to take into account data changes in related shipments while propagating changes.
  2. Click Propagate Changes.

After you have performed this action, the Results page will display the list of the trade transactions impacted.
