Note: The use of the action Create Trade Transaction is deprecated as of release 6.4.3 and will be removed in a later version. Instead use the Build Trade Transaction action. This page is accessed via:

  • Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments/Sell Shipments > Actions > Global Trade Management > Build Trade Transaction
  • Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group > Actions > Global Trade Management > Build Trade Transaction

Use this action to create trade transactions from buy/sell shipments or shipment group based on the data configuration identified from the data configuration rules. Running this action will copy the required data from the shipments to specific qualifiers and fields on the resulting trade transactions. The transactions can then be compliance screened by Global Trade Management (GTM).

Note: When you run this action, only the selected shipment or its related secondary charges will be taken into account. Details of other related legs will not be considered while creating a trade transaction. In case you need to include all legs into a trade transaction, then run the action on a shipment group.

Creating a Trade Transaction

  1. Enter an ID in the Transaction Type ID field.
  2. Select the check boxes in the Include Related Shipments section if you want to include shipments with secondary charges or handling charges.
  3. Click Create.
