Status Codes

This page is accessed via:

  • Business Process Automation > Power Data > Status > Status Codes
  • Master Data > Power Data > Status Codes > Status Codes

For an event or action, status codes indicate what has happened.

Typically third parties such as service providers send status codes to Oracle Transportation Management and Global Trade Management. Some examples include Arrived At Delivery Location, En-Route to Delivery Location, and Shipment Cancelled. Status codes are associated with Status Reason Codes and with Event Groups.

Status codes are also used to describe what has happened when performing an action. If it is configured for a user to Record Reasons for performing an action, they will be prompted to enter a status code manually or via a Quick Code.

Adding a Status Code

  1. Enter a unique identifier in the Status Code ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this status code on other pages.
  2. If desired, enter additional information about the status code in the Description field.
  3. Enter the code of the status code in the Code field.

Note: This field is used only for Global Trade Management.

  1. Select a domain in which this status code will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
  2. Click Finished.
