Send Dispatch

This action is accessed via Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments > Actions > Fleet Management > Driver Dispatch > Send Dispatch.

Use this action to send a dispatch to an external system. After sending a dispatch the shipment status is changed to DISPATCH_SENT.

Sending a Dispatch:

1. Enter a Message Type.
2. If you want to send a full text message, select Send Full Text. Otherwise select Send Summary Only.
3. Enter Remarks.
4. Select the Include Driving Directions check box if you want driving directions to be included with the dispatch. Driving directions are generated outside the system and not stored within Oracle Transportation Management.
5. Click Send.
