Lane Summary Statistics Tab

This page is accessed via Sourcing > Lane Aggregation > Lane Summary Criteria > Actions > View Lane Summary. Select a Show Output of Using Web and click View Lane Summary. On the Lane Summary results page, click Add Lane.

You also see this page if you edit an existing lane.

Adding a New Lane to a Lane Summary

When you add a new lane, you see the Lane Summary Stat tab. The fields on the Lane Summary Stat tab changes if the transport mode is TL or Ocean.

For both TL and Ocean, you see the following read only fields:

• Lane Summary ID
• Average Shipments (set to 0 by default)
• Minimum Shipments (set to 0 by default)
• Maximum Shipment (set to 0 by default)
• Median Shipment (set to 0 by default)
• Standard Deviation (set to 0 by default)

For TL shipments, complete the following:

1. Enter a Lane ID.
2. If Bid By Equiment Reference Unit is selected on the lane summary, enter an Equipment Reference Unit ID and an Average Equipment Reference Units.
3. If Bid By Equipment Group is selected on the lane summary, enter an Equipment Group ID.
4. Click Finished. The selected lane is added to the lane grid.

For ocean shipments, complete the following:

1. Enter a Lane ID.
2. Select a Service Level. Options are:
   • DOOR TO DOOR is the default and requires a Source Arbitrary Lane ID and a Destination Arbitrary Lane ID
   • DOOR TO PORT requires a Source Arbitrary Lane ID
   • PORT TO DOOR requires a Destination Arbitrary Lane ID
   • PORT TO PORT
3. Specify an Equipment Group ID.
4. Specify a Sourcing Arbitrary Lane ID.
5. Specify a Sourcing Arbitrary Location Group ID.
6. Specify a Sourcing Arbitrary Sourcing Region ID.
7. Specify a Sourcing Arbitrary Destination Region ID.
8. Specify a Destination Arbitrary Lane ID.
9. Specify a Destination Arbitrary Location Group ID.
10. Specify a Destination Arbitrary Source Region ID.
11. Specify a Destination Arbitrary Destination Region ID.
12. Click Finished. The selected lane is added to the lane summary grid.

Specifying Demand on the New Lane

Once the lane is added, you need to add demand for the newly added lane:

1. Click the edit (pencil) icon to edit the newly added lane.
2. Enter demand in each of the time period (01, 02, 2, etc.) fields.
3. Click Finished to save the demand.
