Redwood: About the Redwood Experience

Redwood is Oracle's next generation of user experience and it impacts the look and feel, and interactions with Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management feature areas. Redwood ensures a consistent look and feel across the entire Oracle ecosystem, reducing confusion and providing a cohesive user journey in supply chain management and beyond. Redwood is the future user interface for Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management.

To access the Redwood Experience, go to Settings and Actions > Administration > Try the New Redwood Experience. A new browser tab opens the Welcome Page.

Note: Only users with ADMIN user level privileges can see the Try the New Redwood Experience link.

Welcome Page

On the Welcome page, you see the following options:

  • What's New: Click to go to the latest version of the Oracle Logistics What's New documentation on the Oracle Help Center.
  • Start Exploring: Click to view the Ask Oracle page with the Suggestions shown. You can select any items on the list to view that Redwood page. Or, you can enter the first letters on any page or pages to narrow the suggestions.
  • Help Documentation: Click to view the About the Redwood Experience help topic and learn more about Redwood in Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management.
  • Release Notes: Click to go to the latest version of the Oracle Logistics Release Notes on the Oracle Help Center. 

Redwood Experience in OTM/GTM

You can use the Ask Oracle icon (in the bottom right side of the Welcome page.) to access the Ask Oracle landing page. Or, you can select Start Exploring on the Welcome page.

You can try the Redwood Experience in the following areas:

  • Ask Oracle: Suggestions
  • Configuration pages where you can create, view, and edit remarks and reference number Qualifers
  • A limited list of power data pages which include:
    • Equipment Types Profile
    • Mode Profile
    • Location Profile
    • Equipment Group Profile
    • Corporation Profile
    • Equipment Type Profile
    • Service Provider Profile
  • A simple manager: Equipment Type Manager
  • The new Menu Manager
  • Smart search included in a few new PUBLIC workbenches
    • Buy Shipment Workbench
    • Order Release Workbench
    • Location Workbench
    • Invoice Workbench
    • Transaction Workbench
  • Restricted Party Screening page
