Changes in This Release for This Guide

The following changes apply to property graph support that is shipped with Oracle Graph Server and Client.

Oracle Graph Server and Client is required for using the property graph feature of Oracle AI Database or earlier Oracle Database versions (see Oracle Graph Server and Client Installation), and is released four times a year.

Features That Work With Oracle AI Database 26ai and Prior Oracle Database Releases

  • Added Modeler support to user-managed Graph Studio. It includes visual graph modeling, Auto Map, Graph Assistant integration, graph editing, and the ability to copy existing graphs.

  • Added content_security_policy_config field in pgx.conf to configure the Content Security Policy (CSP) header used by graph visualization.

  • Added support to load a graph into the graph server (PGX) memory, or unload it from memory, directly in Graph Explorer.

  • Added support to configure rule-based groups for grouping vertices and edges based on specified conditions.

  • Added support for reordering legend items by dragging and dropping them, or by using the new Move up and Move down actions from the legend item action menu.

  • Added support for the following query visualization settings in Graph Explorer:
    • Number formatting
