Installation Options for Spreadsheet Add-ins
Oracle provides different options for installing Spreadsheet Add-ins.
Note:
Oracle recommends installing Spreadsheet Add-ins from an official store. If online stores are restricted or not available in your organization, you can download the add-in from Database Actions and install it manually.
The installation steps depend on various factors, such as standalone spreadsheet application, web application, and the operating system.
Add-in for Excel

Install from Microsoft Office Store
Open the Microsoft Excel application in your system and install Oracle Database Add-in for Microsoft Excel from Office Store online marketplace. Similarly, you can install the add-in on Excel for the web.

Get the Add-in from Database Actions
Download the add-ins installer file,
oracleplugin.zip, from the Database Actions console. See Download Spreadsheet Add-ins from Database Actions.You can then install the add-in on a standalone Excel application from Office Add-ins Trusted Catalogs. The Database Actions installation method is supported only on Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac. For Excel for the web, install the add-in from Microsoft Office Store.

Install from Google Workspace Marketplace
Log in to your Google account and install Oracle Database Add-on for Google Sheets from Google Workspace Marketplace.

Download the add-on installer file,
