System chassis 1U chassis (Oracle Communications Server E6-2L)
Processor One or two processors with twelve memory channels per processor, 12 DIMMs per processor.
Processors with the following capabilities are supported (factory installed) in Oracle Server Communications Server E6-2L:
  • AMDTurin, 32-core, 2.95GHz, 210 W or the latest information on processor specifications, go to Oracle Communications and navigate to the Oracle Communications Server E6-2L page.
Memory
  • Up to 12 64 GB DDR5 registered DIMMs per processor- speeds up to 6400 MT/sec.
Storage Drives Oracle Communications Server E6-2L storage drive configuration can comprise solid state drives (SSDs). The configuration includes:
  • Up to two 2.5-inch hot-pluggable PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSDs:
    • Oracle 3.84TB 2.5-inch NVMe PCIe 5.0 SSD
  • NVMe internal storage drives:
    • Two hot-pluggable internal M.2 Gen3 480 GB or 960 GB NVMe SSDs

  • Nine PCIe Gen5 slots that accommodate low-profile PCIe cards.

Service processor (SP) Oracle Communications Server E6-2L has an integrated service processor (SP). SP features include:
  • Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM)

  • Local Oracle ILOM command-line access using a serial connection

  • Support for Ethernet access to the SP through a dedicated management port (NET MGT) and optionally through the host NET0 Ethernet port (sideband management)
  • IPMI 2.0-compliant remote management capabilities
  • Support for remote KVMS (keyboard, video, mouse, and storage) over IP
Management software

  • BIOS Setup Utility Menu Options The server supports the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI). UEFI provides an interface between system firmware and all supported operating systems. With UEFI BIOS Setup Utility, you can configure platform-specific information, and some of the run-time and boot-time characteristics of your system using a simple graphical interface.
Power supplies Two hot-swappable and highly-redundant 1400W A271 power supplies.
