Display Icon Override Configuration

This section describes the process for configuring display icons that are used within the various zones for Customer 360. For example, icons that appear alongside nodes within the Premise Context tree, as well as icons that appear within records of the Customer Activity and Financial History zones.

By default, display icon references are configured at the Maintenance Object or Business Object level using the Default Icon Reference Option Type. For certain Maintenance Objects, these icons can be overridden based on their type fields. For example, a Customer Contact can have an override icon based on its Contact Class or Contact Type, a Service Agreement can have a override icon based on the SA Types Service Type, etc.

Display icon overrides are configured by adding or changing a Master Configuration. You can access the portal through Admin > General > Master Configuration.

From the Master Configuration list, add or edit the Display Icon Override Configuration record. Use the Add button to configure for the first time. If a record has already been added, click the Edit button instead. Use the embedded help to guide you through the options.
