Maintaining Lead Events
A lead event is an event or action in a lead to take place to encourage a customer to participate in a program. A lead may contain many lead events.
The Lead Event portal is used to maintain
lead events. This portal contains the following zones:

Lead Event: Displays the basic information about the lead event.

Notes: Displays user-defined comments about this lead event
To maintain a lead event:
- Select
- Enter your search criteria in the Lead Event Query zone.
- Click Refresh.

In the search results list, click the link for the lead
event you want to maintain. The selected lead opens in the Lead Event
portal.
Note: You may also navigate to the Lead Event portal by clicking on the appropriate lead event from various portals and zones. Examples include:
- Initiative Portal: Initiative Leads zone
- Sales Representative Portal: Initiative Leads zone or Initiative Lead Events

Click the appropriate record action button:
- Edit – Click the Edit button to allow you to edit the main attributes of the lead event. When you click Save, the system updates the record.
- Complete – Click the Complete button to indicate a pending lead event is completed.
- Cancel - Select the Cancel button to cancel a pending lead event.
- Click the Add Notes icon, in the Notes zone, to capture additional information for the lead.
