22.2 Initiate Islamic Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC - Copy and Initiate

This topic provides the systematic instructions to copy and initiate an Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC in the application.

User can initiate trade transaction by copying the contents from a similar and existing trade instrument, so that he does not have to provide the details again.

To search the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC:

1. Perform any one of the following actions:
   • Specify the the Guarantee Number/Beneficiary Name/Status/ Currency/Amount From- Amount To /Issue Date From- To/Expiry Date From- To in the Filter field.
   • Click to specify the filter criteria. The Filter overlay screen appears. Based on the defined criteria you can view transactions.

   Field Name	Description
   Guarantee Number	Specify the existing Guarantee number which needs to be copied and similar one initiated.
   Beneficiary Name	Specify the beneficiary’s name against whom Guarantee is to be created.
   Status	Specify the status of the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC. The options are: Active Cancelled Hold Reversed Closed
   Currency	Specify the currency to filter the record.
   Amount From- Amount To	Specify the amount range for the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC under which the Guarantee issued.
   Issue Date From- To	Specify the application date range for the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC.
   Expiry Date From- To	Specify the expiry date range of the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC to filter the record.

2. Click Apply.
   The searched results are displayed based on the parameters provided.

   Field Name	Description
   Related Party	Specify the Related Party name to filter the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC by Party Name.
   Filter	Specify the Guarantee Number/Beneficiary Name/Status/ Currency/Amount From- Amount To /Issue Date From- To/Expiry Date From- To as a filter criteria.
   Filter Results	This section displays the filter results.
   Guarantee Number	Displays the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC reference number of the LC.
   Applicant Name	Displays the name of the applicant party of the Outward Guarantee.
   Beneficiary Name	Displays the beneficiary’s name of the Outward Guarantee.
   Amount	Displays the amount for the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By along with the currency.
   Issue Date	Displays the date of issuance of the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC.
   Date of Expiry	Displays the expiry date of the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC.
   Status	Displays the status of the Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC. The status can be: Active Hold Cancelled Reversed Closed

3. Perform one of the following actions:
   • Click on the desired Guarantee Number link whose details to be copied. The Initiate Islamic Outward Guarantee/ Stand By LC screen appears.
   • Click the icon to download the records in CSV & PDF format.
   • Click the icon to setup a column preference by rearranging or removing columns.
   • Click Initiate Islamic Outward Guarantee/Stand By LC to create new LC.
