Creating a Field Group

Introduction

Field Group enables you to group Fields together logically based on whatever characteristics are of interest. You can create one or more Field Groups associated to a User Defined Data configuration.

Prerequisites

Following are the prerequisites to consider before creating a Field Group configuration in Communication Cloud Service:

Ensure that you complete the prerequisites before proceeding.
Prerequisites Details
Set the Config ID Config ID must be Active.

Ensure that all dependent configurations and associations are part of the same open Config ID.

Configure Entitlements Ensure that you have the required entitlements to create a Field Group.
Create User Defined Data configuration Ensure that you have created the User Defined Data configuration that needs to be associated to the Field Group configuration.

Creating a Field Group

To create a Field Group, follow these steps:
  1. Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
  2. From Menu, select Configuration.
  3. Under Configuration, select Data and then select Field Group.
  4. On the Field Group landing page, select Create.
  5. In Basic Information section, enter the Name, Long Name and Description (optional), to identify the Field Group.
  6. In User Defined Data section, select Add User Defined Data and then select the User Defined Data that you want to associate to the Field Group.
  7. In Status section, the Active Date is set to the current date when the Field Group is created. You can change it to a future date if required, but you cannot leave it blank.
  8. Select Save to save the details and stay on this page, or select Save & Exit to save the details and return to Field Group landing page.
