Adding a Log Entry for a Request

Procedure

To add a log entry for a request:

  1. Search for the request in the Request screen.
  2. In the Search Results section, click the link in the Request Information column corresponding to the request whose details you want to view.

    The Request screen appears. The Log tab lists the complete trail of actions performed on the request. This tab contains the following zone:

    • Request Log - Lists the complete trail of actions performed on the request.

  3. Click the Add Log Entry link in the upper right corner of the Request Log zone.

    The Add Request Log window appears. It contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Request Displays information about the request. Not applicable
    Log Details Used to specify additional comments for the request. Yes
  4. Enter the comments in the Log Details field.
  5. Click Save.
    The log entry is added in the Request Log zone.
