1 Using this Guide

This is a guide for newly developed reports in Reporting and Analytics.

This guide is organized by report category, for example summary reports or operations performance reports.

This guide includes the following information for each report:
  • Description — includes the purpose of the report, permissions needed to view it, and whether other specialized parameters are available.

  • Report Tags — lists searchable tags including point of sale, tax type, and restaurant type options.

  • Report Components — describes tables and visualizations including key performance indicator (KPI) tiles, pie charts, bar charts, and scatter plots that appear on the report. Also listed are the required permissions to view each report component.

If a role does not have access to all the permissions listed on a report, you still have partial access to the report. Click the information icon Orange circle icon with an “i” in the center. at the top of the report to understand which report components are not visible due to missing data permissions. The following image shows this information in the Check Detail report.

Data permissions required to view each report component are listed within each report in this guide.

To help you quickly understand reports, time duration data is displayed in a simple, human readable format (HH:MI:SS). To help with subsequent processing in other applications, that same time duration data is exported in decimal format when using Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) or comma-separated values (.csv) file types.
