4 Credit Card Authorization and Pay

Use the CC Auth & Pay function to pay for a transaction, charging the customer’s card directly. No pre-authorization is required. It is a transaction charge that is visible on the customer’s card statement.

• Authorization and Pay
  Pay off the transaction without pre-authorization.
• Authorize and Pay with Multiple Cards
  Pay off the transaction with multiple cards without pre-authorization.
• Combination Pre-Authorization and No Pre-Authorization
  Pay off a transaction without pre-authorizing one card and then pre-authorize another card.
• Combination Pre-Authorization and Other Payment
  Pay off part of the transaction without credit card pre-authorization, then use another payment method to pay off the transaction.
• Adjust Closed Check with Tip and Card
  Amend the tip on a transaction that did not have pre-authorization and pay off the transaction with a credit card avoiding the need to tap, swipe, or insert the card again.
• Adjust Closed Check with Tip and Cash
  Amend the tip on a transaction that did not have pre-authorization and pay off the transaction with cash.
• Reopen Check Cash Payment
  Amend items on a transaction with no pre-authorization, was paid off, and then pay off with cash.
• Reopen Check Card Payment
  Amend tip amount on a transaction with no pre-authorization and then pay off with a credit card.
