Arrive (Check In) to a Visit
The arrival (check-in) process allows you to complete any remaining forms and lets your care team know that you have arrived.
Note:
This process might be called check-in, arrival, I'm Here, or a similar name, depending on your healthcare organization and settings. Visits might be called appointments or encounters.Depending on your organization and account settings, you might receive an email or text message alert to remind you when it is time to arrive (check in). If the get ready (preregistration) process is not yet completed, the notification might indicate that your details are still missing.

Note:
The arrival (check-in) process is available only during the time period set by your organization, such as 30 minutes before an appointment starts until 15 minutes after it starts. For example, if an appointment is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., the arrival window might be 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. This time frame is not adjustable- You cannot complete the arrival process earlier than this time frame.
- Do not start the arrival steps until you are physically present at the office (excluding video visits).
- If you arrive later than the appointment time allows, your appointment might be marked as Missed.
- If you were unable to complete any preregistration details before the arrival period starts, you must complete them during the arrival process.
- You might be unable to skip steps if you are preregistering as part of the arrival process.
