Cancel an Upcoming Visit

Depending on your healthcare organization and account settings, you may be able to directly cancel an upcoming (but not yet completed) scheduled appointment.

Note:

You cannot cancel appointments that are too close to the appointment time as set by the healthcare organization, for example, if you are within 48 hours of the appointment time. If you are unable to cancel an appointment online, call the office. Contact details are provided in the appointment details for that appointment.
To cancel an upcoming appointment:
  1. From the Ask Oracle menu Ask Oracle, select Visits.
  2. Select the appointment. If you have the ability to cancel this appointment, a Cancel button is displayed.
  3. Select Cancel Appointment.
  4. Select the drop-down list item Cancel Reason and select an option.
  5. Select Cancel Appointment. The drawer closes and the Appointments dashboard updates. The appointment is moved to the Past tab and displays a red badge labeled Canceled.
  6. Optionally, if you previously added the appointment to your personal calendar, manually remove it. (See your calendar software for information about how to delete events.)
