Reschedule an Upcoming Visit

Depending on your healthcare organization and account settings, you may be able to directly self-reschedule an upcoming (but not yet completed) scheduled appointment with the same provider.

Note:

You cannot self-reschedule appointments that are too close to the appointment time as set by the healthcare organization, for example, if you are within 48 hours of the appointment time. If you are unable to reschedule an appointment online, call the office. Contact details are provided in the appointment details for that appointment.
To reschedule your appointment to another date and time:
  1. From the Ask Oracle menu Ask Oracle, select Visits.
  2. Select the appointment. If you have the ability to self-reschedule this appointment, a Reschedule button is displayed at the top of the page.
  3. Select Reschedule. You are redirected to a page that has options for date and time for the specific provider and appointment type. If the appointment can no longer be rescheduled online, a message is displayed that provides instructions for calling the care team's office phone number.
  4. Optionally, select the date box to change to a certain date and select an available time. You are redirected to a page that allows you to review the appointment details.
  5. In the Reschedule Reason box, enter or select the reason you are rescheduling the appointment.
  6. You might need to select Continue or Search, depending on the type of appointment.
  7. Select a time slot for the date and location you want.
  8. Select Reschedule Appointment. An appointment confirmation page is displayed with the details of the appointment.
  9. Optionally, select Add to Calendar to download a calendar file. (See your calendar software for information about how to add these files to your calendar. This process might involve opening it from your calendar tool and saving it.)
