Reschedule a Visit

Depending on your healthcare organization and account settings, you may be able to directly self-reschedule an upcoming visit.

Note:

Depending on the visit type and provider, this workflow might vary.
  • If you use Ask Oracle, your workflow may vary depending on what you are looking for and the information needed. For example, "Reschedule an appointment" would have a different workflow from "Rechedule my appointment with Dr. Smith on Monday at 2 p.m. to occur at Wednesday at 3 p.m. instead"
  • Call the provider's office if you are unable to schedule online.
To reschedule a visit to another date and time:
  1. If you manage multiple connected health profiles, optionally switch to a different health profile.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Visits.
  3. Select the visit.
If you have the ability to self-reschedule the visit, a Reschedule button is displayed on the page. (You may need to select a More Actions (…) button to see this option.)
  4. Select Reschedule to be redirected to a page that includes options for date and time for the specific provider and visit type.

    Note:

If the visit can no longer be rescheduled online, a message is displayed. You will need to call the provider's office to reschedule the visit.
  5. Select Search Appointments to display a calendar.
  6. Select a date, and then select one of the time slots available for that date.
  7. Enter the reason for rescheduling the visit.
  8. Select a date, and then select one of the time slots available for that date.
  9. Select Reschedule Appointment to reschedule that visit.
A confirmation page is displayed with the details of the visit.
  10. Optionally, select Add to Calendar Add to Calendar to add the visit to your personal calendar. If you previously added the visit to your personal calendar, remember to manually update or remove it. (See your calendar software for information about how to delete events.)
See the other topics in this section for more information about visits, including how to view visit details, visit summaries, and clinical notes. You can also get ready for a visit and complete any questionnaires.
