Configuring Membership Revenue Groups

Loyalty badge. Membership Revenue Groups are "sets" of membership revenue types that are treated as a unit when points calculations are based on the revenue generated by the guest. Membership revenue types correspond to the revenue buckets set up on external systems. All revenue buckets must be configured as revenue types for stay transactions, including payment transactions, to be recognized as valid. Membership revenue types must be configured before setting up membership revenue groups. 

Note:

Membership Revenue Groups are also associated with Profile Stay Records. The first four membership revenue groups are displayed in the Profile Stay Records and should be configured in the following order in order to display the correct revenue in Profile Stay Records.
  • Total Revenue

  • Room Revenue

  • Food and Beverage Revenue

  • Other Revenue 

Adding Membership Revenue Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then select Revenue Groups.

  2. Click New and enter the following details:

    1. Code: Enter the membership revenue group code.

    2. Description: Enter the description for the revenue group.

    3. Sequence: Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned.

    4. Transaction Codes: Select one or more transaction codes from the Available panel then use the greater than symbol > to move your selection to the Selected panel. 

      Note:

      Use the filter to refine the search; enter value and clickGo.
  3. Click Save.

Editing Membership Revenue Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then select Revenue Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the revenue group in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the details.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Membership Revenue Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then select Revenue Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the revenue group in the search result, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
