Configuring Outbound Domain Allow Listings

Outbound domain allowlist configuration automates the cloud infrastructure changes required to allow outbound HTTPS, SFTP and SMTP communication from OPERA Cloud to a specified host. To initiate processing of the network changes, each outbound domain/host entry must be approved by a user with the Approve Outbound Domain Allowlisting task granted.

The following ports are supported:
Protocol Port

HTTPS

  • 443

SMTP

  • 25

  • 587

  • 58701 - 58799

SFTP

  • 22

  • 22001 - 22099

Outbound Domain Status:

  • Awaiting Approval: Waiting approval.

  • Pending:  Processing, which may take up to 6 hours.

  • Ready: Processing complete and available for use.

Note:

User activity is available in the Changes Log , for the Outbound/SFTP Configuration group and Outbound Domain Allowlist action type.

Adding Outbound Domain Allowlist Details

  1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup, select Outbound, then select Outbound Domain Allowlist.

  2. Click New and complete the following:

    1. Context

      1. Global: Select to setup for all properties  (Requires the Global Outbound Domain Allowlisting task assigned to your chain role).

      2. Property: Select to setup for a selected property.

        1. Property: Select a property from the list. For more information, see Changing Your Location in Multi-Property Operations.

    2. Hostname: Enter the host name or IP address.

    3. Protocol: Select a value from the list.

    4. Port Number: Enter a port number.

    5. Click Save.

Approving Outbound Domain Allowlist Details

Requires the Approve Outbound Domain Allowlisting task assigned to your role.

Note:

Processing may take up to 6 hours.
  1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup, select Outbound, then select Outbound Domain Allowlist.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select the outbound details (in Awaiting Approval status), then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Approve.

Deleting Outbound Domain Allowlist Details

Processing may take up to 6 hours.

  1. From the Toolbox menu, select System Setup, select Outbound, then select Outbound Domain Allowlist.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select the outbound details, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
