Monitoring Consumable Inventory

Use to monitor and adjust the inventory levels of consumable inventory. 

When the Articles OPERA Control is active, you can track the inventory levels for articles posted in Billing, Batch Charges, AR and Post It. An 'Articles' report template is available in Reports and Analytics (R&A), in the Configuration Subject Area and External Reports folder.

Adjusting Consumable Inventory

You can adjust the item stock levels as needed. Adjustments are tracked in the Configuration group of the changes log.

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Financials, select Cashiering, then select Monitoring Consumable Inventory.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the consumable inventory record in the search result, then click the Edit action icon.

    1. Quantity in Stock: Displays the current quantity in stock.

    2. Adjust: Enter an increment adjustment amount.

    3. Click Update.
