Submit Authorization

The authorization enters this step from the status 'Entry' or 'Change' when the action 'Submit authorization' is performed in the UI from the View and edit authorization page or Authorization In IP.

When an authorization is submitted the status of the authorization is set to 'In Process', and a status history record is added for 'In Process'.

If authorization is submitted from the status 'Change' all the authorization messages that are added by the system (authorization message with indicator processing set to 'Yes') are removed.

If there exist authorization pend reasons, which the user has access to, then they are removed. The authorization pend history records corresponding to the authorization status history 'Change', for the removed pend reasons get updated as resolved If a pend notification was sent out when the authorization pended, then the system also sends out a 'Pend Done' notification through Outbound Restful Service Invocation to the external system for the resolved pends.

The next step in the process flow i.e. enrollment callout is then performed.
