Create a shipment for destruction

You must create a shipment for destruction when there are kits pending destruction in the study inventory and another depot is supposed to receive and destroy those kits.

For a depot facility to create a shipment for destruction and ship it to another depot facility, you or the clinical supply manager must update the status of the required kits to Pending Destruction. For more information, see Mark a kit for destruction.

1. Navigate to the Shipments tab. For step-by-step instructions, see Access the Shipments tab
2. Click Create Shipment and select Shipment for Destruction.
3. On the Create Shipment dialog, fill in the fields. To view tips for completing a field, click into the field or choose an option.

   Field	Description
   Destination Depot	Select the depot where the shipment needs to arrive for destruction.
   Ship From	Select the depot from where the shipment for destruction is coming.
   Kit Type and Description	For a specific kit type, turn on the toggle () to specify that the shipment must include that kit type.
   Quantity	You cannot specify the quantity yourself. The quantity of kits to be destroyed is determined by the system based on how many kits were previously updated with a status of Pending Destruction.

4. Click Create.
5. Click Close.
