2 Manage shipments
- Access the Shipments tab
As a depot user, you must manage all of a study's shipments on the Shipments tab. - Create a manual shipment
You might need to create a manual shipment if a shipment was damaged at the depot before it was shipped or if another depot requires more supplies sent to their facility. - Create a shipment for destruction
You must create a shipment for destruction when there are kits pending destruction in the study inventory and another depot is supposed to receive and destroy those kits. - Specify a ship date and tracking number for a shipment
Perform these steps only if the study doesn't use an integration with Almac, Fisher Clinical Services or Catalent Clinical Supply Services for shipments. - Fulfill a shipment
You receive a notification when you need to fulfill a shipment. The notification contains the Shipment ID. - Cancel a shipment
In any study, you can cancel a manual or automatically-generated shipment as long as its status is Pending, Invalid, Confirmed, In Transit, or Pending Destruction. You typically cancel a shipment to control costs and avoid the waste of the investigational product. - Check for an invalid shipment
You must perform this task if your study uses an integration with Almac or Catalent Clinical Supply Services. - Update the contents of a shipment
Update the contents of a shipment when the kits in the box don't match the contents in Clinical One Cloud Service. - Mark a shipment as lost
During the course of a study, you may have to mark a shipment as lost in the application.
