We changed the email address requirement for the workflow invitation process.

Site workflow invite

This enhancement introduces an important update the workflow invitation process. You can now invite a site to a workflow without requiring a valid email address in the site's profile when the workflow does not allow site portal access (toggle turned off). In this case, a valid email address is no longer mandatory for any site contact.

When you invite sites under these conditions, the invitation modal includes a new section. This section will state, "The following site(s) will be invited to the study but will not be sent a study invitation email," and will list each applicable site.

However, if you invite a site to a workflow where site portal access is allowed (toggle turned on), the process remains unchanged: the site's profile must have a valid contact email address that matches the study's email invitation preferences.
