Study setup

We improved the display of the study's site workflows list, added source code buttons for Study and Account level workflow templates, restored explanatory text for unassigned workflows, and more.

Site workflow configuration

We enhanced the Manage site workflow configuration page so the workflow list now fills the full length of the page. If you resize or scroll to create more space, the list automatically expands to display additional rows.

Workflow templates

All rich text editors on the study and account workflow configuration pages now include a source code button source code. This option allows you to view and edit the underlying HTML of text inputs directly within the editor.

Workflow helper text

On the study workflow creation page, we restored the brief explanatory text shown above the task list when a workflow hasn't been assigned to an invited site yet. The text, "This workflow's activities can be edited until an invited site has been assigned. The workflow will lock once assigned to an invited site." now displays as expected.

Note:

To help prevent accidental deletion of site workflow tasks, the delete option will be moved to the task details drawer in an upcoming release.

Study email template salutation placeholder

Salutation header placeholders are no longer added by default to the study invitation, final acceptance, and final decline email templates. Now, if the {salutation_header} placeholder is missing from any of these templates or their country override versions, you'll see a yellow warning box below the email body input field stating: "Warning: Email template does not include a salutation header. Please include the placeholder {salutation_header} to populate site emails with a salutation." This warning updates in real time as you edit the template, and disappears once you add the placeholder.

Study email template country override

On the Manage study email templates page, when you enable a country-level email template override, you’ll see a red warning message above the sender email field if it is left blank. The new warning states, “Please input the sender email address for sites receiving an invitation for this country.” This warning is only visible when the override check box is on, and it disappears when you enter a valid email address.

We also added hover text to the “Save all changes” button. When the button is disabled, this indicates that something is missing in one or more of the template(s). The new hover text describes this condition as, “Save is disabled until all required fields are populated. Please check for errors on the country level templates.”

Milestones country grid

The Milestones country grid now expands to fit the height of your screen. This enhancement lets you scroll down the page while keeping the country names in the table header visible. You can also access the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the grid.
