Organization Management

Within your organization, you add an account holder which represents each legal entity within the organization. The account holder is automatically owned by the user who created it and they can add more owners. Owners manage the account holder.

Accounts represent a nominated bank account and are linked to the account holder. Each account requires at least one owner who manages the account within Payment Cloud Service.

Locations, or stores, are the physical address of a storefront, unit, or hotel. Each one is assigned to a single account. Before transactions can take place at a location, terminals in that location must be onboarded.

Connected account holders, accounts, and locations must all be located within the same country.

To set up your organization:

  • Add an account holder with account information.

  • Verify the account holder.

  • Assign locations to the account.

  • Register terminals to locations.

You can structure your organization in several ways. For example, some organizations only have one account holder, while others have several. The following images show different examples of an organization structure, but you are not limited by just these examples.

One Legal Entity with One Bank Account

One account holder/legal entity with one account below and three locations below that.

One Legal Entity with Multiple Bank Accounts
