New Reason Code
Purpose: Use the New Reason Code window to create a new reason code to:
- reject a delivery or pickup order, or a line on a delivery or pickup order
- cancel a pickup order, or a line on a pickup order if the customer no longer wants it
- automatically cancel unclaimed pickup orders that are not picked up within a specified number of days; see Auto-Cancel Unclaimed Orders for background
Auto Cancel Reason: You can also use this screen to create the Auto Cancel Reason to use when an unclaimed pickup or ship-for-pickup order is not picked up within a specified number of days. The Auto Cancel Reason code specified at the Preferences screen cannot be deleted or deactivated. See Auto-Cancel Unclaimed Orders for background.
How to display this window: Click New at the Reason Codes screen.

Only users with Reason Codes authority can display this screen. See the Role Wizard for more information.Completing the creation of a reason code: Update any of the fields described below and click Save, or click Cancel to return to the Reason Codes screen without creating the reason code.

Purpose: The code identifying the reason to:
Your entry can be up to 30 positions. Required. |

The description of the reason code. Can be up to 35 positions. Required. |

Indicates whether the reason code is used:
Note: The Close type is not currently implemented. |
| Active |
Indicates whether the reason code is available for selection by the store associate or manager when canceling or rejecting an order or line in Store Connect. |
