Note: WebLogic Server Multitenant domain partitions and
Resource Consumption Management are deprecated in WebLogic Server
12.2.1.4.0. The related Console and help pages will be removed in the
next release.
Create a Resource
Consumption Manager
Use resource managers to ensure the fairness of resource allocation
and to reduce the contention of shared resources by collocated domain
partitions in the server instance. See Configuring Resource
Consumption Management.
To configure a resource manager:
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
-
In the
Domain Structure tree, expand
Environment, then select Resource
Management.
-
On the
Summary of Resource Managers page, select the
resource manager you want to configure.
-
On the
Policies page, create or update Triggers
as necessary:
-
To create a new trigger, see Create a
trigger
-
To update an exising trigger, see Edit a
trigger
-
To delete an exising trigger, select the trigger and click
Delete.
-
On the
Policies page, create or update Fair Share
Constraints as necessary:
-
To create a fair share constraint, see Create a fair
share constraint
-
To update an existing fair share constraint, see Edit a fair share
constraint
-
To delete an exising fair share constraint, select the fair
share constraint and click Delete.
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
