Administration: Business Role Pages

Use the Business Role Pages page to create and manage business role pages and set business role page creation defaults. Business role pages provide a powerful tool for exposing content that is highly relevant to a specific audience. For example, create a page targeted to and viewed by specific groups, such as your Sales, Accounting, or Administrative staff. Business role pages are exposed to targeted users in the Home Portal.

In the Set Page Defaults dialog, Enable One-Click Page Creation determines whether users can override the default Page Style selection:

  • Select Yes to specify that new business role pages must always use the Page Style chosen here. This enforces a common look and feel across WebCenter Portal by overriding the Create Page dialog, and creating pages directly using the selected page style.

  • Select No (default) to specify that users can create pages with a different style, with the selected Page Style displayed as the initial style in the Create Page dialog.
