Data Controls

Use the Data Controls page to manage web service data controls for all portals (if accessed through the Shared Assets page) or for the current portal (if accessed through the Assets page).

You use data controls to connect to and read data from external web services, then present that data on a page in a task flow.

If a data control is hidden after it has already been consumed in a task flow, the usage of the data control will continue to work in that task flow, but the data control will no longer be available in the resource catalog for consumption in other task flows.
