Remove the Base Module Chassis

Removal of the Base Module is complicated and must be performed by an Oracle Service representative.

• Lock the Robot and Remove Expansion Modules
• Remove Base Chassis and Parts for Reuse

Lock the Robot and Remove Expansion Modules

Before removing the Base Module, the robot must be parked and locked. All Expansion Modules below the Base must be removed.

Removing and replacing the Base Module can only be performed by an Oracle Service representative.

1. Park and Lock the Robot.
2. Remove all modules below the Base Module.

Remove Base Chassis and Parts for Reuse

Remove functional components for reuse before removing the Base Module chassis.

1. Remove the following applicable parts from the Base Module:
   • Unlock and Remove the Magazines
   • Remove the Drive Tray
   • Remove the Drive Slot Cover
   • Remove the Power Supply
   • Remove the Power Supply Slot Cover
   • Remove the Front Control Panel
   • Remove the Robot Module
2. Remove the screws securing the Base Module to the front of the rack.
3. Extract the module from the rack.
