5.39.1 Introduction

The A_SpecimenObservationOrder (universal) CMET represents an order placed for an observation to be made on a particular specimen. It includes act relationships and participations to indicate the patient whose record will document the observation, author, verifier, responsible Organization, criteria governing fulfillment, and so on.
