The Sun StorEdge S1 Array Installation and Maintenance Manual provides installation and configuration information and service procedures for the Sun StorEdge trademark S1 array. These instructions are designed for an experienced system administrator.

Chapter 2 provides information on preparing for installation and assembling DC input cables.

Chapter 3 provides instructions for installing the Sun StorEdge S1 array.

Chapter 4 provides procedures for removing, replacing, or adding disk drives to the Sun StorEdge S1 array.

Chapter 5 contains information about maintenance tasks for the Sun StorEdge S1 array.

Appendix A provides system specifications for the Sun StorEdge S1 array.

AaBbCc123	Book titles, new words or terms, words to be emphasized. Replace command-line variables with real names or values.	Read Chapter 6 in the User's Guide. These are called class options. You must be superuser to do this. To delete a file, type `rm` filename.
