If a CMP module fails, the onboard devices and slots directly connected to it become unavailable. Recovery of the I/O services connected to the failed CMP requires I/O node reconfiguration.
For example, in a 4P system, if CMP0 goes offline, the following devices become unavailable:
Onboard hard drives
In this failure scenario, the system is unable to boot from internal drives.
Similarly, if CMP1 goes offline, the following devices become unavailable:
