The Sun Network QDR InfiniBand Gateway Switch provides both InfiniBand fabric switching and management capabilities and in-band access to 10GbE networks. The gateway utilizes the OFED InfiniBand software stack and the BXOFED BridgeX software stack through an internally configured management controller. The gateway has 32 physical InfiniBand QDR ports and eight 10GbE ports available through splitter cables.
Monitoring the many aspects of the gateway is simplified by a web-based Fabric Monitor, allowing point and click polling and verification of settings, parameters, and status.
