Migrating Directory Proxy Server

There is no automatic migration path to move from a Directory Proxy Server 5.2 to Directory Proxy Server 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0). Directory Proxy Server 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) provides much more functionality than the old versions. While a one to one mapping of configuration information is therefore not possible in most instances, it is possible to configure Directory Proxy Server 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) to behave like a version 5.2 server for compatibility.

This chapter describes how the configuration properties in Directory Proxy Server 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) can be used to simulate a version 5.2 configuration.
